Snowboard belongs to the large-flowered gladiolus group. The flowers are large, pure white in color, and are classified in registration records under the code NN155D.
The plant reaches a height of 100–120 cm and forms upright flower stalks. The flowering period in a temperate climate occurs from July to August.
The variety does not overwinter in open ground. Due to the height of the flower stalks, the variety requires support to protect against wind and to support the stems during abundant flowering.
