Snowdon gladiolus flowers are pure white, sometimes with a slight cream or pearly tint, 10 to 15 cm in diameter. The plant forms a dense spike-shaped inflorescence capable of opening 8 to 12 buds simultaneously. The flower stalk height is usually 100 to 130 cm, although in individual cases it varies from 90 to 150 cm.
Flowering of the variety occurs from August to September. The plant has strong stems; however, when grown in windy conditions, it requires staking. The variety is valued for its uniformity, elegant appearance, and ability to remain fresh for a long time when cut.
