The variety belongs to the large-flowered gladiolus group. The plant forms robust, strong, upright stems ranging from 100 to 150 cm in height. On the long spike-shaped inflorescence, 10–12 flowers can be open simultaneously.
The flowers are bright golden-yellow, sometimes with a darker throat, funnel-shaped with slightly wavy petals. The variety is summer-flowering, with the blooming period occurring from July to September.
The plant possesses relative resistance to lodging, but requires support in windy locations. The variety is not winter-hardy and requires the corms to be lifted for the winter. The primary use is landscape design and professional cut flower production.
