The soybean variety Darija, also known as BC Darija, was developed by specialists at the Agricultural Institute in Osijek. The variety is included in oilseed breeding programs and was officially registered in 1999.

The plant belongs to maturity group 0–I. Precise characteristics, including stem height, protein and fat content in the seeds, as well as disease resistance scores, are not described in available publications.
