The P18a02 soybean variety is a product of Pioneer's breeding activities. It is used for grain production, which is processed into oil and meal for subsequent use in the food and feed industries.

In scientific research, the P18a02 variety appears as an object for studying seed processing methods, in particular, the analysis of the effect of soaking and thermal treatment on the content of antinutrients, such as lectins.
