This variety belongs to the extra-long staple cotton segment (Pima type). In some sources, it is described as an interspecific hybrid obtained by crossing Gossypium hirsutum and Gossypium barbadense.
The variety possesses fiber quality typical of Pima cotton and is characterized by accelerated maturity compared to traditional varieties of this type. During trials, the variety demonstrated resistance to Fusarium wilt (Fusarium Race 4) and root-knot nematode.
