The Hermes variety is a subject of agronomic research conducted in Greece. In scientific studies, it is used for comparative analysis of seed germination under artificial stress conditions caused by polyethylene glycol exposure.
During the studies, the variety demonstrated intensive growth compared to a number of other cotton varieties. The specific response of this variety to drought was also studied as part of an assessment of agronomic characteristics.
The variety is listed in the national registry — its seeds are authorized for sale in this country.
