The Nevada-123 variety is a breeding line of the cotton Gossypium hirsutum L. The main direction of studying this variety is its resistance to water deficit and the ability to adapt to various agro-climatic conditions.
Research work with the variety includes the analysis of morphological traits, such as the number of monopodial branches, boll weight, root-to-shoot ratio, and dry biomass. Measurements of physiological indicators are also carried out, including photosynthesis intensity, stomatal conductance, and photosystem II efficiency.
