The variety is officially included in international cultivar registers. The plant was introduced to Florida by Franz Gruber of the Colombian nursery Orchideas S. A. after being collected in the wild by Jeffrey Kent.
As a member of the genus Guzmania, the variety possesses the rosette structure characteristic of the Bromeliad family. In horticulture, it is used as an indoor ornamental plant, though it has not become widely distributed, and detailed agronomic indices for the variety are absent in open sources.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
