The plant has dark green lanceolate leaves with an entire margin. From December to February, it forms orange-yellow funnel-shaped inflorescences. The height of an adult plant under optimal conditions is from 80 cm to 1 m, the width of the rosette varies from 60 to 80 cm.
The variety is used as an ornamental houseplant for interior landscaping and winter gardens. It requires high air humidity and is sensitive to water stagnation in the roots. Pests include scale insects and spider mites.
