The plant forms a rosette of leaves, the color of which varies from golden-green to dark green. The inflorescence resembles a spike, and its height together with the pot can range from 20 to 50 cm.

Guzmania «Tempo» is a monocarpic plant with a flowering duration of 3 to 6 months, most often occurring in the summer-autumn period. The variety is intended for cultivation in indoor spaces, winter gardens, and terrariums; it requires bright, diffused light and is sensitive to waterlogging.
