The plant is vigorous, reaching a height of 200–250 cm at the end of the growing season, and up to 3 meters according to some data. Tubers are medium-sized, pear-shaped or round-oval, with a lumpy-smooth surface and intense red-violet skin color. The variety is characterized as hardy and winter-hardy.

The tubers have a mild nutty flavor with a hint of artichoke. This is a multi-purpose variety, suitable for both culinary use and industrial processing in dietary nutrition for the extraction of inulin.
