Variety description

The variety is an interspecific hybrid of Helleborus × glandorfensis. The plant is bushy, has a moderately vigorous growth type and evergreen foliage. Leaves are large, palmate-dissected, dark green in color, and the stems have a reddish hue. The plant height is 35–45 cm.

Flowers are simple, cup-shaped, dark purple wine-red in color, and located on sturdy peduncles. Flowering is early, starting in the period from January to March. The plant is characterized by high adaptability, winter hardiness in zones 5–9, and is suitable for cultivation in open field or containers.

The plant is poisonous if ingested; it is recommended to use gloves when working with it.
