The foliage has a ruffled edge and is colored in purple-burgundy tones, creating a decorative metallic effect. The plant is free-flowering, forming elegant flower stalks with pink wand-shaped flowers.

The height of the foliage is about 18 cm, the height of the flower stalks reaches 40 cm with a bush width of 30–40 cm. The variety is a perennial evergreen plant, winter-hardy in USDA zones 4–9, suitable for growing in partial shade and in the sun in northern regions.

Due to its compact habit, the variety is suitable for container gardening, borders, rock gardens, and the foreground of flower beds. The plant attracts pollinators, including bees and hummingbirds.
