The plant forms a compact rosette 15–30 cm in height and 40–50 cm in width; with flower stalks, the total height reaches 30–60 cm. The leaves are large, rounded, lobed, with a glossy surface of a rich dark purple shade.

The flower stalks are burgundy-purple; the flowers are small, bell-shaped, and cream-yellow or primrose-yellow in color. Flowering is prolonged, taking place from late spring to early autumn.

The variety possesses high winter hardiness (USDA zones 4–9) and is resistant to drought and extreme temperatures. It is used in landscape design to create contrasting accents in borders, mixed borders, and container plantings.
