The variety is a compact herbaceous perennial, forming a dense rosette of small caramel-orange leaves. The height of the bush is 30–40 cm; flower stalks about 10 cm high bear small pink-white flowers.

The plant possesses high winter hardiness, corresponding to USDA zone 4, and demonstrates high resistance to diseases. Successful cultivation requires drained, moderately moist soils and partial shade conditions. It is used in landscape design for planting in rock gardens, mixed borders, flower beds, borders, and container gardening.
