Variety description

Leaves are medium-sized, rounded, with a serrated margin, and have a marbled pattern: white or cream spots and specks appear on a green background in spring. In hot weather, the variegation may fade, but it returns with the onset of cool temperatures. The variety may produce entirely green shoots, which are recommended to be removed.
Peduncles are thin, up to 50 cm tall, bearing small bell-shaped flowers of coral-red or bright cherry color. The flowering period lasts from late spring to late summer. The bush reaches a height of 25–50 cm and a width of 30–40 cm.
The plant is winter-hardy (zones 4–9), prefers partial shade and light fertile well-drained soils. It poorly tolerates water stagnation. It can grow in the sun provided there is regular watering and protection from direct midday heat.
