The tree reaches a height of 2.5–5 meters and has a dense crown. Information regarding the presence of thorns is contradictory: different descriptions indicate both their absence and the presence of spines 4–6 cm long.

Fruits have a weight of 0.6–0.7 g, a size of about 1 cm, a bright orange or orange-yellow color, juicy pulp, and a sweet-and-sour taste. The skin of the fruits is thin, which requires caution during harvesting. Ripening occurs in the period from August to September.

The variety possesses high winter hardiness, withstanding frosts down to -35...-37°C, and is resistant to major diseases. The plant tolerates prolonged drought poorly and requires regular watering. The berries are suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
