The variety is included in the official catalog of agricultural plant varieties of Romania. Research on the variety focuses on the biochemical properties of the fruits, in particular on the content of vitamin C, carotenoids, and lycopene.

In comparative studies of sea buckthorn genotypes, the variety showed high antioxidant capacity. Detailed morphological descriptions of the plant, data on disease resistance, and agrotechnical characteristics are absent in open publications.
