The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Shcherbinka 1 and Katunskaya. The plant is a medium-height bush with a spreading, sparse crown, which facilitates harvesting. There is a small number of thorns on the branches.

The berries have an oval-cylindrical shape, their average weight is 0.6–0.7 g. The fruits are amber-yellow in color, characterized by dense flesh with a high content of oil and vitamins, and have a sweet-sour taste. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness, yield, and annual fruiting.

The fruits are versatile in use: suitable for fresh consumption and for industrial processing. Due to the decorative nature of the bush during the fruiting period, the variety is also used in ornamental gardening. To ensure yield, a male pollinator plant is required.
