The variety is the result of breeding work by the Institute of Horticulture of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. It is intended for universal use and is included in breeding programs aimed at improving product quality for processing.

The plant possesses a complex of economic and biological traits, including winter hardiness, drought tolerance, and adaptability to the soil and climatic conditions of Ukraine. One of its morphological features is the formation of a compact crown.
