The plant is a dwarf shrub 1.2–1.5 m tall (sometimes up to 2 m) with a dense, highly branching crown. The leaves have a narrow lanceolate shape and a gray-green hue; there are thorns on the shoots. A male pollinator plant is required for fruit set.

The fruits of the variety are large or medium, orange in color, and are distinguished by a pronounced taste and a vitamin C content of more than 300 mg/100 g. The berries can remain on the branches for a long time after ripening. The yield of an adult bush varies from 3 to 8 kg.

The variety possesses high winter hardiness, is adapted to northern climatic conditions, and is resistant to Verticillium wilt. Due to its decorative foliage and compact size, the bush can be used in landscape design, and the fruits are suitable for various types of industrial processing.
