The variety is a male plant that does not bear fruit and is used exclusively for the pollination of female varieties. The plant is characterized by intensive pollen production, with up to nine male flowers forming in a single bud, making it a universal pollinator.

The shrub grows up to 2–3 meters in height and has a densely branched crown of a rounded or oval shape. Shoots have moderate thorniness. The leaves of the plant have a pronounced silvery hue, which gives it a decorative appearance.

The variety possesses high winter hardiness and is adapted to northern conditions. It exhibits resistance to apical necrosis and also tolerates strong winds and saline soils well.
