The plant is vigorous and has a sturdy crown with upward-growing shoots. Thorniness is weak or completely absent. Large, top-shaped buds are located on the shoots frequently, at intervals of about 0.8 cm. The leaves are large, broad-lanceolate in shape, green, with a characteristic yellow spotted coating along the central vein.

The variety was selected from a late-flowering population in the Altai mountains, which ensures rare damage to flower buds by spring frosts. As a male pollinator variety, the plant does not bear fruit and is intended exclusively for the effective pollination of female sea buckthorn forms, including Russian varieties.
