The spring two-row barley variety is characterized as mid-season and medium-tall; plant height is about 92–95 cm. The ear has a cylindrical shape and a density ranging from loose to medium. The variety shows high resistance to lodging.
The grain has a good thousand kernel weight, amounting to about 51.1 g, and stable protein content. The product is suitable for use in the brewing, cereal (pearl barley yield is about 50.8%), and feed industries.
The plant demonstrates resistance to powdery mildew, rhynchosporium, dwarf leaf rust, gray and black spot, as well as loose smut. The variety shows moderate resistance to covered smut and medium susceptibility to root rots.
