The spring barley variety belongs to the medicum botanical variety. The plant forms a two-row, cylindrical, awned, loose spike. The stem is of medium height, ranging from 67 to 80 cm. The bush has a semi-erect shape; the awns are long, slightly serrated, with a faint manifestation of anthocyanin coloration at the tips.
The grain is yellow in color, oblong-rounded in shape, and has a thousand kernel weight in the range of 42–49 g. The ripening period from emergence is 72–84 days. The grain contains from 10.9% to 12.7% protein. The variety shows resistance to smut diseases, powdery mildew, stripe helminthosporiosis, and dwarf rust.
