ActiveHordeum vulgare L. · Barley
ULRICH and JOSEF BREUN
10 August 2026
The variety is a very early six-row barley with a growing period of about 80 days. The plant is characterized by a strong stem, providing lodging resistance, and exceeds the Vertti variety in height. The variety demonstrates productivity under drought conditions and a high yield potential for its maturity group.
The plant possesses complex disease resistance: it is completely immune to powdery mildew, and also has good resistance to net blotch and scald. The grain is distinguished by a high protein content and a good level of starch, which allows the variety to be used as a feed crop and raw material for starch production.
