The variety belongs to the malting type. It is characterized by high grain plumpness and extract levels, as well as a moderate proteolytic profile, which is significant for the brewing process.

The plant has medium height and medium to good lodging resistance. The variety shows good tolerance to drought conditions and resistance to soils with low pH levels.

Good resistance is noted to a number of diseases, including Helminthosporium, brown rust, powdery mildew, and Ramularia.
