Variety description

The variety is mid-season, the growing season is 75–78 days. The plants are short-stemmed, 60–65 cm in height. Variety ricotense, the ear is six-rowed, 8–10 cm long, smooth-awned, non-brittle, pyramidal in shape transitioning to rhombic, straw-yellow in color.

The grain is large, yellow, elongated-oval in shape with a uniformity of 92–96%. The variety is characterized by high resistance to lodging and shattering, as well as to diseases: Helminthosporium, powdery mildew, and smut diseases. It belongs to the valuable varieties suitable for the production of food products.

The variety is of the intensive type, requires the application of fertilizers to realize its productivity potential. Recommended for cultivation in the Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones.
