The Hanacky kargyn (Hana Kargyn) variety is an old barley genotype of historical value. In field trials, the growing period for this variety was approximately 124 days.
The variety is used in scientific research as a reference for testing the presence of resistance genes to powdery mildew Blumeria graminis. It also serves as material for comparative analysis of technological grain qualities, including protein content, starch content, and thousand kernel weight.
