The variety is classified as early-maturing with a growing period of 83 days. The protein content in the grain is about 13.3%. It is intended for use for feed purposes and for starch production.
The variety possesses fairly good resistance to net blotch, but does not have specific resistance to powdery mildew or scald. The levels of leaf spot infection are significantly lower than those of the Aukusti variety.
Recommended for cultivation in all barley-growing zones of Finland. Shows the best results in fields with good moisture availability.
