The variety is a six-row winter barley intended for forage purposes. Genetic studies using RAPD-PCR molecular markers showed a high degree of similarity to the variety Tiffany.
Scientific papers noted the variety's resistance to certain herbicides. Studies were also conducted on the technological properties of the grain, including analysis of water absorption capacity and dough characteristics when using barley as a raw material for processing.
