The variety has a facultative growth habit, allowing it to exhibit traits of both winter and spring barley. Plants are characterized by short to medium height. The growing season falls into the early or mid-early maturity group.
The grain has a high thousand kernel weight (48–54 g) and a test weight of 68–72 kg/hl with good protein content. The variety is resistant to powdery mildew, barley yellow mosaic virus (BYMV), and barley yellow dwarf virus (BYDV). It shows moderate resistance to scald and net blotch.
