The grain has a low protein content within the range of 10.8–12.9%, which is favorable for malting, as well as high test weight and sorting indices. Thousand kernel weight is rated as medium to medium-high. If necessary, the variety can be used for feed purposes.
Resistance to major diseases is rated at an average level: powdery mildew — 6 points, rhynchosporium — 5 points, net blotch — 5–6 points, brown rust — 5 points on a 9-point scale.
