The variety is mid-maturing, has a moderate stem height of about 95–97 cm, and possesses good lodging resistance. It is characterized by high-quality grain with an average specific weight of about 69.2–69.5 kg/hl and a low level of screenings during cleaning.

The plant has good resistance to rhynchosporium and net blotch, but is susceptible to powdery mildew and brown rust. The primary purpose of the variety is cultivation in areas with a high risk of Barley Yellow Dwarf Virus infection during early sowing dates.
