The variety belongs to winter six-row barley forms. Plant height is 75–87 cm. The origin of the variety is linked to breeding at the Fundulea Institute based on the cross Balkan x (H 251 x Fundulea 3-83).
Thousand kernel weight varies within 39–42 g, protein content is 11.2–12.0%. The variety is characterized by high adaptability, drought tolerance, capacity for spring regeneration, and resistance to lodging.
The plant possesses high resistance to powdery mildew, brown rust, and Helminthosporium. It is intended for use in intensive cultivation technologies and is suitable for feed and industrial purposes.
