The variety is a two-row hulless barley, which was the first Czech variety of this type. The plant has a relatively short stem, which ensures lodging resistance at a level from medium to above average.
The variety is characterized by medium resistance to major fungal diseases, including Fusarium. The grain has a high starch content (more than 65%), as well as a reduced crude fiber content and an increased protein content compared to standard barley varieties.
The variety's production is used in the food industry and in the diets of farm animals sensitive to high fiber content. The variety is suitable for cultivation under organic farming conditions.
