10 August 2026
The variety is a spring two-row barley. It possesses a unique hordein profile, which allows for identification using laboratory methods. In the late 1990s, the variety was widely used as material for the analysis of malting qualities and beta-glucan content.
In comparative studies, the variety was classified as one of the most susceptible to powdery mildew. In a number of phytopathological tests regarding susceptibility to Fusarium culmorum, the variety was characterized as possessing moderate resistance.
