The variety is a six-row winter barley, which during its period of active use was intended for feed production. The variety was bred at the Lužany breeding station and represented one of the early developments of a new breeding wave aimed at increasing the winter hardiness of plants.
Currently, the variety is considered obsolete and is absent from current producer catalogs. Detailed agronomic characteristics of the plant, including resistance to pathogens or morphometric parameters, are not publicly available due to the date of the variety's registration.
