The variety is a six-row winter barley obtained as a result of crossing the Nikel and Rebelle lines. It is characterized by wide adaptability and yield stability in various climatic conditions, including the Mediterranean region.
Compared to modern hybrids, the variety demonstrates lower tillering intensity, a lower number of ears per unit area, and lower thousand kernel weight. The variety is traditionally used for feed purposes, as well as for obtaining biomass intended for silage or biogas production.
