A spring barley variety positioned as a malting variety suitable for the malting industry. Currently not included in the broad lists of varieties recommended for cultivation.

The plant possesses very high resistance to powdery mildew, while susceptibility to brown rust and limited data on rhynchosporium are noted. The variety has stiff straw with high resistance to stem breakage.
