The variety belongs to the malting direction of use. Technological properties allow for obtaining clear wort, with the extract content in malt dry matter ranging from 82.5% to 83.6%.

The variety is spring-sown. In field trials, the yield was 95–97% of the trial average. In a number of regions, the variety is classified as having secondary importance and is being gradually phased out of production.
