The general level of disease resistance is assessed as medium. The variety shows better resistance to spot blotch and loose smut, however, it is more vulnerable to stem rust, net blotch, and Fusarium head blight.
The grain of the variety is large and plump, belonging to the non-GN type, which excludes the presence of glycosidic nitriles and allows its use in brewing and the production of distillates. During processing, attention to soaking regimes is required due to the grain's sensitivity to water.
