The variety is a hybrid type intended for feed grain production. The cultivation technology involves the use of reduced seeding rates typical for hybrid barley.
The plant possesses genetic resistance to barley yellow dwarf virus due to the presence of the Yd4 gene, as well as to barley mosaic viruses. Good tolerance to foliar diseases is claimed, which allows for a reduction in the use of insecticides against viral disease vectors.
