The Timon variety is officially classified as winter barley. At present, detailed plant characteristics, such as stem height, winter hardiness indicators, disease resistance, or maturity group, are absent in publicly available publications.
The variety is mentioned in the registers of the Research Centre for Cultivar Testing (COBORU), however, it has not been presented among the main cultivated varieties in the current catalogs of the originator company DANKO in recent years.
