The variety is a spring form with an elongated stem. The plants possess good resistance to lodging and fungal diseases, in particular to loose smut, however, they show a susceptibility to powdery mildew. The ability for rapid soil cover ensures the variety's effectiveness in weed control.
The grain is characterized by high test weight and an increased content of plump fractions. The variety is intended for malting, and due to its beta-glucan content, it is preferred for the production of craft and natural unfiltered beer rather than for industrial use.
