The variety belongs to the winter two-row barley type and is intended for feed purposes. During field trials, a yield of 81.7 c/ha was recorded, which exceeds the performance of the average standard. The plant is characterized by very high winter hardiness, surpassing a number of common varieties.
Regarding phytosanitary characteristics, the variety demonstrates high resistance to powdery mildew under natural infectious background. It shows medium sensitivity to brown rust and leaf spot, and medium resistance to Fusarium head blight.
The grain is characterized by an average protein content of 11.6% and a grain uniformity index of 84.3%. In the analysis of malting qualities, extract content was 78.3%, and soluble nitrogen content was recorded at 662 mg/100 g.
