The variety belongs to the mid-season maturity group with a vegetation period of 70 to 88 days. Plants are short, with an average height of about 73 cm. The variety shows resistance to lodging, is relatively resistant to loose smut, but is sensitive to powdery mildew and leaf spots.
The grain of the variety is characterized by its large size: thousand kernel weight ranges from 41 to 55 g. The chemical composition of the grain includes 10–12% protein and about 57% starch. In competitive trials, the yield ranged from 5.52 to 7.14 t/ha with maximum values up to 8.69 t/ha.
