Veturia is a winter two-row barley variety. It is characterized by a combination of high yield with compact grain size.

During the breeding process, programs aimed at ensuring resistance to Barley Yellow Dwarf Virus (BYDV) were applied. The variety was also the subject of research within the framework of analyzing the relationships between yield indicators, protein content, and technological grain parameters.
