The variety belongs to spring two-row barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) and is widely used in scientific work as a parental form for creating genetic populations and QTL mapping. The variety is characterized by medium maturity and medium stem length.

The plant possesses good lodging resistance. Regarding pathogens, the variety shows resistance to leaf rust, while indicators for powdery mildew and spot blotch are evaluated as medium. A pronounced tolerance to drought is also noted.
